Congressman Steve Cohen has scored an “A” on the National Education Association (NEA) 2015 Congressional Report Card.

The NEA Report Card rated all Members of Congress on such votes as the Omnibus Appropriations Bill, school voucher bills, and educational block grants. You can see the complete list here.

“I have consistently supported legislation to improve the state of our nation’s education system,” Congressman Cohen said. “I believe that productive and progressive investments in our classrooms today are critical to providing greater opportunities for all our children in the future.”

With just under 3 million members, the NEA is the largest labor union in the United States, representing public school teachers and other support personnel, faculty and staffers at colleges and universities, retired educators, and college students preparing to become teachers.
